A Design in the Making
People love seeing our original artwork; it helps them understand the free-motion embroidery element of the designs. So much detail goes into our designs and the free-motion embroidery is the final stage before the designs are scanned and prepared for printing. The stitched element is most obvious on the reverse of the original artwork where you can see the sewing, not the entire design. When you see the back of the artwork, you can really appreciate how much sewing has gone into every design and people find the fascinating.
The Tiger was painted first in watercolour and pen. Then more detail was added using free-motion embroidery.
