Shipping policy

We offer world-wide shipping. The final shipping options available and their costs are calculated and shown during the checkout.

Shipping costs depend upon the products and type of products purchased. Here are some examples as a guide:

Made to Order Fabric Samples - Free Shipping

Note: Orders containing Made to Order Homeware as well as Framed Art or Prints will incur both shipping costs ie. £5.15+£5.99=£11.14 shipping as they are coming from different locations.

Personalised Items In Order

All personalised products (including those ordered without script) are made to order and will be delivered within approximately 3 weeks.
Please take extra care when entering any names or messages for your personalised pieces on our website as we are unable to offer refunds or replacements once an order has been placed.

Order Amendments and Cancellations

We are unable to change the delivery address, add or remove items or cancel an order once it has been placed. However if you change your mind about any of the items in your order, you can return them to us within 14 days of your order being delivered.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products including special orders, commissioned items, made to order items and personalized items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Useful Information

When placing an order with us please note:

All the items on our website are handmade or printed from original artwork and are subject to availability.
Our handmade items are all unique, therefore by nature not identical.
We are a small family run business and do not make massive batches of our products.
Items made using fabric can differ from photography listing as the pattern repeat moves across the fabrics and we use all the fabric when making our products.
If the item you have ordered is no longer available or there is a delay we will let you know as soon as possible.
If payment has already been taken for products that we are unable to supply, we will refund you in full as soon as reasonably possible.
Payment will be taken when you place an order. We will not be held liable for any delays or non-delivery of goods due to failed payment authorisation.

Please note that we have not accepted your order until we dispatch the products you have ordered from us, and that all products ordered via our website remain the property of Jane Buurman Handmade until we have received payment for them in full.
